Shaking the Bucket!
Sunday, 24th of October saw dozens of bikers roll up at Wexford General Hospital on a clear crisp morning for the MAG Wexford “Last Blast Run” 2010. Always a firm favourite for riders near and far, the Sunny South East lived up to it’s name even if the temperatures struggled a bit!!
The run itself got underway after 10am, and the 170-odd kilometer route included Enniscorthy, Bunclody, Gorey (where there was a food stop) then on to Courtown, Kilmuckridge and Curracloe before making it’s way back to Wexford Hospital where food & refreshments were waiting. There was a raffle with spot prizes on the day and all proceeds were in aid of St. Gabriel’s Paediatric Ward in Wexford General Hospital.
Huge thanks to Mick Rice of MAG Wexford and his army of dedicated helpers for organising what is without doubt one of the very best one day events in the country, and to the staff of Wexford General Hospital who gave generously of their valuable time.
