The 2012 Tramore Scooter Show takes place on the weekend of 13th to 14th July. Here’s a word from the organisers!
Our 2012 weekend will mark the 30th anniversary of the mods invading the seaside town of Tramore, which has always had a special place in the heart of all the scootering fraternity in Ireland, so come along and enjoy the sunny South East.
The weekend will kick off on Friday evening at 8pm, with admission just €7.00. DJ`s for the night will be Jimmy Morrissey, Andrew Collie and the legendary Tony Class, with an acoustic set by Colin Doyle from the Modfathers.
Saturday afternoon will see a custom show on the prom from 2pm to 4pm with various stalls followed by a rideout, while a kids disco will be held in the venue. Saturday nights entertainment will again kick off at 8pm with admission €10.00.
Tony and the lads will hit the decks once again, followed by the brilliant ska/punk outfit, The Naildrivers. When the band take their break, the custom show results will be announced and the trophies will be awarded, then the winndr of the draw for the brand new neco abruzzi 4stroke automatic scooter will be announced.
